Allama Talib Jauhari was a well-known Pakistani Shia Islami Scholar, Religious Leader, Public Speaker, Poet, Historian, Philosopher born in Patna Bihar (Indian State) on 27 August 1938. His father was also a famous Shia Cleric of his time named Maulana Muhammad Mustafa Jauhar. 

Allama Talib Jauhari Early Education

Allama got his initial education from his father at their home. His religious education was started at a very early age. Allama migrated with his family in 1949 to Pakistan after the 1947 independence.

Talib Jouhari Higher Education

After serving several years in Pakistan he moved to Najaf the Holy City in Iraq to gain higher religious education. He stays there for 12 years to gain higher religious education. He returns to Pakistan in his 60's.



Allam Talib Jauhari Services in Pakistan

After returning from Najaf he was appointed as the head of Jamia Imamia in Karachi Pakistan where he served the community for almost 5 years. He then began a series of speeches at different events, especially in Muharram Majalis in all major cities of Pakistan. Large numbers of people used to gather to listen to his meetings. There were many listeners of Allama in other countries besides Pakistan. A special feature of his meetings was that he never made hate speeches. Not only Shiites listened to them but also Sunni Muslims loved to listen to him.

Award

 Sitara-i-Imtiaz( Star of Excellence) The third highest civil award in the state of Pakistan which is given to its civilians on their contribution in any field throughout their life. This award was given to Alla Talib Jauhari for his everlasting contribution to religious activities in Pakistan and around the world. 

Allama Talib Jauhari Death

He passed away on June 21, 2020, in Karachi.
